Not sure if this is an internet problem or a comp problem. Essentially my display will just freeze, no mouse movement, no refresh, no change. Then everything is fine after a few seconds (usually). Sometimes it'll happen again immediately afterwards. It doesn't happen that often (that I notice) when I'm actually PVPing, but it gets really annoying when you try to point something and it just freezes.
I'm on a group internet that I share with my two roommates. So...it might be the internet. Little help?

It's really fun when you jump through a gate with war targets on the other side and suddenly this happens. (you're not the only one)

indeed, i've experienced this as well. mostly in rather busy systems, though not exclusively, it does seem to happen less often now though, was worse right after patching.

It may be of interest to run the logserver first, make a new workspace and then run eve, and watch for a myriad of missing .dds files and such.
I'm getting the idea that the high quality stuff is mostly alright, but that a lot of resources used for lesser graphic settings are either borked, not rendered properly or not even present in many cases (like warp tunnel textures for low/med quality shadow).
Each time when a missing resource is called, the client freezes.

I had this problem, and someone suggested sorting out my bookmarks.
So, anyway, after moving 1,466 bookmarks into folders, the problem has vanished entirely...

This is probably to do with virtual memory, as EVE uses a lot of it, especially if you have the client running for a while.

Disable eve voice (if you're not using it, that is)

Above is true, its because it has to scan all your bookmarks to make the right click information. Use folders =)

I have had the same issue (client freezes periodically for a few seconds.) I can confirm that turning EvE Voice off solved the problem.
In previsoul clients, I had to edit the settings-file manually to comepletely disable voice, and thus solve the problem.

Me and a few others had this problem and for all of us this was fixed by leaving chat channels with very many users and/or spam.
