Works fine for me. Just make sure it worked the next day, if not CCP will fix it. I haven't had any problems at all with the skill queue.

Are you absolutly positivly sure you accepted the skill queue you had set. only time Ive had a problem with it was when I was pretty sure my training had run out.. but EVEMon said I was training lvl 5.. and while I was pretty sure I told it to train lvl 4 I didnt log in to check.. so I missed a few hours there.. but I had still trained lvl 4 and some other skills like I had set it to.

Strange.. I have played EVE now for 3,5 years, and never have I had the need for getting up in the middle of the night to change/set new skills.

I never did either. But I did had some sense of time lost starting a new skill after a period of several hours where nothing was being trained.
In short, I absolutely adore the new queue.

Last i checked, you can only save time training Empathy V if you finish all Leadership skills to level V.
Its not very likely that someone will benefit from this, unless they really know what they are doing.

The reason I'm training empathy to V, and later on Presence to V is because I intend to play this game for a very, very long time. And I eventually want all my learning skills maxed out (including charisma) on all my toons, combat/industry alike. So when that fateful day comes around where CCP decided to introduce the new uber ridiculous set of must have skills and for ****s and giggles they decide to set the Primary AND secondary as charisma it won't take me 3 years to get them.

Reading comprehension is not your strong point eh? Read my post carefully, and unless you have a crystal ball that will tell me every single skill added in the next 10 years, then your opinion is just that. An opinion.
I will train every learning skill to V eventually. Every single one, regardless of what may or may not be the case currently.

Happens when a skill finishes during downtime. Just make sure that doesn't happen and you're fine.

Really? how did oyu handle all the 4 to 18 hour trains? My main is loving all teh 4-18 hour trains finaly getting done, and my training up is going very smoothly. Unless you are managing a boat load of partial trains that take forver to complete. I hated that too.

3)Change long skill to short skill
4)Change 7 hour skill to long skill 2 hours later
5)Leave for work/sleep/social gathering
6)Go to step 1

from the beginning of the post, its evident this is a troll... only aim was talking about charisma and adv learn skills. Skillqueue was just the excuse.
8/10 as you got good results 
just to add more thrill, Im sure some day all the anti-charisma guys will be severily pwned. Learn skills are cool to be maxed out, so congrats there, you doing right
