I tried 180.48 a while back and now the latest 182.08 but had to go back to 178.24 for stable game play.
I have 2 x 8800 GTS (320MB) in SLI.
I tried all sorts of options "interval 1", "disable PhysX", but no joy.
It all seems to work fine and then one of 2 things happened (with 182.08):
1) Windowed: Random graphics (giant EVE icons) as the background, messed up text and icons, etc., then my PC freezes up (reset button ....). 2) Full screen: Random lock ups with the screen flickering and trying to (what appears to be) sync.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this for EVE ? I'd love to upgrade my drivers but it breaks EVE. -- EVE Mobile Skill Planner V3 !! http://evemsp.sourceforge.net/ |

Try running in non SLI mode. The game seems to be having problems with it atm.

Edited by: Grez on 16/03/2009 22:53:17 Stop using SLI. Ever since they implemented PhysX support into their drivers, SLI's been slightly fubar with a lot of games.
It's an issue with NVidia - you'll have to wait for a driver update. Enjoy waiting though, the problems been persistent for the past 3 releases.
If you BSOD with a NV driver error - disable SLI. You can turn it off for specific games through the driver profile settings. --- Have a rawr on me. |

Forget SLI, I have a Duel core with 2x8600 cards. It has continued to freeze and freak out on Lv4's plus. I shut down the SLI config in the Bios, Removed one card, reset control panel to single (non SLI) and bang! The graphics are great, handles all info, smooth as silk. Try it
