Shalin Ra	Posted - 2009.03.15 21:51:00 - [1] I have placed an Esoteric Data Interface in my hanger alongside the appropriate datacores and a BPC. When I right click and choose Invention on that BPC, it says No Decryptors Found. I am attempting to use the Invention slot within the Station I am in. Does the Data Interface need to be somewhere else? Or am I missing something entirely?

Decryptors are optional, and you would have gotten a different error message if you didn't have a Data Interface available. If everything is in your personal hangar, caching shouldn't be an issue.

I was able research it but without using decryptor.

Cancel the whole job so the screen goes away and start again from scratch and initiate the job again this has always worked for me, as the second time the decryptor shows up. Continually clicking on the decryptor line on the job screen for me does nothing except bring back up the "not found" message, but cancelling the job screen window and retrying seems to work. -- POSs, Outposts, Exploration, Mining, Invention, Boosters, EA EVE Database, Character Generator & more

Are you sure that USER MANUAL is used in caldari invention? and are you sure that you can still turn a profit when you factor that decryptor into your costs? Chances are you will end up taking a loss. Some days you're the bug, some days you're the windshield.

colt steele	Posted - 2009.03.18 17:15:00 - [15] i must admit ive tried this is well and also get the same problem it wont recognize any of my caldari Decryptor's. im using Tuning Instructions,Prototype Diagram and interface Alignment chart's. none of these are showing in the decryptor section, ive tried logging off, undocking and changing system but to no avail. will also petition this.

Madam Einstein	Posted - 2009.03.18 23:03:00 - [17] Yes, is was ship interface and yes it would have been more profitable if used different decryptor but this one was just laying around so I used it.
