Since apoc was deployed I've been unable to play as my client disconnects on almost every session change, entering the game takes about 5 tries, as i get "connection to server lost" when attempting to enter the game and load a station, jumping, undocking and entering a grid with a gate on it seem to have an 80% chance of booting me. it took 10 disconnects to go 3 jumps in highsec before i gave up.
i have no intention of getting into a fight like this, which is a bit of a shame really. anyone else having a similar problem? should i be putting this down to server problems, or should i be looking at my ISP and router for the cause? We come for our people |

yep. a lot of people. i havent dared do anything other than sit in stations and be a station hermit after apileofcrappola came online. i cant go more than about five minutes before my client locks/freezes with minimal settings enabled and sound off. my accounts have been canceled since its unplayable and when/if they work out this monstrosity i might resub. or might not. id much prefer the incompetant developers and QA kids get publicly flogged.

Well, im not quite at the /ragequit 3 accounts stage yet, i can just about log in and queue skills up as long as i dont do anything silly like undock and dont mind taking 10 minutes per account to actually get a connection. but at least i know that im not alone with this issue. You may want to look at this thread:
http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=921650
...see if you have the same (routing) issues, and help bump it/keep it alive, until a solution is made available.

playing with MTU settings atm. this could be it... in the other hand it may not :]
my problems start here (in logserver) :
"Closing connection to 87.237.38.200:26000: {'reasonCode': None, 'reason': u'The connection to the server was closed.', 'exception': RuntimeError('class std::exception:IOCompletion: class std::length_error : too large a packet detected at 1073343863 bytes"
...so i'll check those nasty MTUs.
cheers
