Do your own smartbombs destroy your own missiles? I know you pop your own drones with your smartbombs, I'd assume it'd be the same with missiles. C/D?

Yes, they are difficult to use because they fold like paper cards. There PRIMARY strength is 8 mid slots and ECM bonuses. Any fit that does NOT take FULL advantage of that will not do as well as one that DOES. Blasters my ass. Torps all the way. Here is thier weakness: DRONES. A full compliment of T2 drones against a scorp will destroy the scorp even if the owner is fully JAMMED. They WILL aggro to the scorp. Smartbombs are a way to deal with drones. Good luck using them in high sec though. Without a warp scram you can NOT pop a ship fast enough before they will warp away. Your fit is close, but if you are solo, put on a warp scram. Targeting speed is another problem with scorp as well, try sensor booster II with scan script. 8 mid slots go really fast on a scorp. If it has a SAVE button...I'm not interested.
