What the title says.
Is remote viewing of POS structure hangar contents possible?

No idea. Starbases were something they never got to where they were happy with them, so maybe that will change during a starbase redesign.
Of course, there is an assets menu in the corp menu that lists assets in space. I am 99% positive that dosent show whats in a hanger, but im not home to check. If it isn't there then nope.

Actually if your good at parsing api you can view everything in the corp hanger but again you need to be director/ceo api. Pain to do it but its what I do.

This is basically it. It's not available in game but the API once per day will give you an updated look.
