I've been running EVE with no major problems for well over a year now. This is the first time I've had problems that I could not fix.
Probably nothing close to a record but 20+ crashes in the space of half an hour just isn't good. Log in, corp mates say Hi and back to windows we go. Sometimes I get 5mins, sometimes I get no more than 10 seconds.
I had no problems before the last couple of patches, I'm using the 61.77 drivers but things were fine for at least a week before the crashes started. I rolled back to the 53.03 drivers, didn't help. Reinstalled EVE as a last resort, only tried once, CTD in 30 seconds. I get into the game just fine, past the character select screen so none of the problems that seem to be had by many after the last couple patches.
The main concern is there are no error messages, it's as clean a CTD as you will see, EVE to Windows in less than a second.
I have no other issues on this computer, everything else runs just fine.
AMD 2500+
Geforce4 Ti4400 128mb
Gigabyte 7N400 Pro 2
1.5 Gig Ram
What concerns me is when I had CTD issues in the past, this forum was flooded with people having the same issue, this time around I seem to be alone.
Don't know what else to do.

Snap. Fly through space and CTD, Set autopliot to on and it's a CTD. Be mining and suddenly with lasers on, no ore transferring to hold and CTD. when you touch any controls. Very Poor show.
Since the patch I am finding it SO unstable it's making me play other things. I went to mine for a few hours and had 5 CTD in little over an hour! pitiful
I have TWO PC's Athlon 64 3.2GHZ, 1GB ram. Geforce 5700 256Mb and a Dell Intel 1.7M 1GB ram Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB card and BOTH have the same issues. Also getting some node failures.
I suggest we hope a more stable version is released soon.

Same problems here. Flying around space in my indy, crashing 1/3 of the way to desktop. Getting strange lag, ship lagging from place to place, long response time. seems to have started since last weeks patch, had no problems before that. Got 3 PC's standing here, all 3 experience the same problem.

Any of you on NTL cable by any chance?
I'm having similar problems but occasionally see a "The connection to the server was closed".

No.
I was with a buddy lastnight, i CTD'ed, Logged back on and he wasnt their either, he CTD'ed at the same time.
Whats bad is when you warp into an encounter on an agent mission, u get locked and it u get a CTD.

I have this damn problem..... Ill be mining then Ill get a chat window bug or super nice lag...I reall y hate it when ur in a gang.Always having to restart a gang gets out of hand.
Or the best was i was hunting this moa and when i warpd in i lockd and the poof CTD.
Edit: But i also get the lost connection when I have broadband.

I got exactly the same problems as the TopicStarter.
Windows XP Prof.

Intel« PRO/100
512MB DDR PC2100 RAM
I can play other games without any problems

Some people said that installing WinXP SP2 would solve my problems, but after seeing this...

When running two accounts on the same PC, what makes me doubt it's my connection is that only one of the two programs crashes. I just did a five jump trip. ON autopilot it reaches the gate and stays there not moving, press a key and it crashes then after two more jumps after relogging, it paused approaching the gate and again CTD. and then for a third time on reaching the station. Reloaded and again on trying to dock.
I wish CCP would get the idea that saying "we have an issue with this game Crashing" and putting our minds at rest is not a bad thing, as we already Know that it does.
