My client seems to work fine, except that I appear to be having some issues with the display of several very specific objects.
The two wormholes that I've visited so far are completely invisible to me. I see the bracket icon, and I can use them, I just can't see them visually. The icon in the Selected Item window appears as black with an exclamation point, like a player whose portrait hasn't loaded yet.
I don't know if this problem translates to all wormholes or perhaps a specific type. If it matters, both wormholes led from highsec to Unknown space. In both cases, the wormhole was labeled as Wormhole Z971.
In addition, I seem to have issues viewing the lights in station environments. Sometimes I can't see any lighting effects, and sometimes broad white effect with no transparency replaces the lights. And of course now that I need a screenshot of it, I can't reproduce the effect. It's most easily noticed in the caldari station environment, although it may occur in the others and I simply haven't noticed.
I also can not view the "flash" effects on explosions. The hull just disappears into a puff of smoke and a small particle effect, but no screen flash like before the patch. Based on the input I received from other players, this isn't normal either.
The last thing is that deadspace acceleration gates don't appear to have any textures now. Also, the icon in the Selected Item box is black with an exclamation point. Same deal with the wormhole.

Have some specs:
Nvidia 8800GS, 182.08 (the issues also appeared on the 180.48 driver I was using previously)
XP, service pack 2
shadows, resource cache, HDR, bloom all enabled.
shader high
texture high
all effects (except camera shake) on
If it matters, I had to install the client by copying the folder over to this computer from my laptop. I don't believe it's file corruption of any sort since I assume there's some kind of internal check that occurs before I'm even allowed to log in. But maybe? Is there a file in common between these issues here that I can try recopying or maybe downloading from somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated.
