T2/t3 ships are supposed to be expensive. Losses for t1 ships are already too light.

yes but a t2 frig cost between 15 and 20 mil in most cases and t1 cost between 20k and 1mil
getting paid 200k for a t2 frig sucks ...... make insurence pay out at least 50% of the market avg of a t2 frigate SIG: if my message has spelling errors its cos i fail at typing properly :P |

If you come up with an ISK sink to balance your new ISK faucet, I might consider this idea. -------- Ideas for: Mining

i have to agree that insurance for t2 ships sucks, people claim that it is the mineral worth of the ship, but it is not when you have to add in the extra modules for making the t2 version, and the mineral worth of the components should raise the return of the t2 ships.

insurance for a t2 ship is fine, otherwise we'd be killing our own T2 battleships, collecting insurance, and salvaging them, making free isk.

So? T2 frigs are more powerful than t1 frigs.

And faction isn't that much better than t2, but is still loads more expensive.
If you can't handle expensive losses, fly cheap.

its kinda like real life with cars though, if you by a nissan, it is gonna cost less than its fancier version known as the Infiniti. its the same car with more goodies, but you are still gonna pay more insurance for the upgraded vehicle. so why not apply this in eve. and insurance needs to be removed if you selfdestruct your ship, cause no real insurance company is gonna pay for STUPIDITY

without inserting to much extra isk into the system ccp at best could investigate 10% extra insurance for t2 ships over their t1 variants. and 25% over the base price for the t3 variants.
