I just recently upgraded my trial account that I had completed just over a year ago. Since I'm only 2 days back into it, I am still re-familiarizing myself with the game. I would love to find a newb friendly corporation of mature easy going people.
I'm not yet sure what my focus will be for my character, but I do like running missions so a diverse corp would be a plus.
So far, my character has over 1mil SP and is currently located in the Lonetrek region.
I'd love to hear from the friendly, active corps out there.

I have a small but expanding corporation that would be thrilled to offer support and advices on almost any aspect of EVE. We are all mature (but one of us gets a bit stupid when around real-life friends, I'm working to break him of this) and casual about the game. We are focusing on mining and industry but even our most hard-core miners can't stare at rocks all day so you'll get ye chance to experience whatever you want. Heck, if we're not doing something you want to try, just ask and we will!
We are currently based in Essence, so a bit of travel would be in store for you. We could offer logistic support in moving ye assets though.
