I was just in the middle of mission when the game froze. I thought it was an issue with my wireless broadband so I closed out the game and reconnected to my wireless... did not do anything unusual or change and settings anywhere. Now when I go to start the game it gives me the opening splash screen then nothing. There is an eve icon in my task bar but clicking on it doesn't pull anything up and it never loads the game/login window. So what gives? The game is completely unplayable for me now it seems. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall it? I swear if I lose my drake over this BS I'm going to be ticked!

Just rebooted the computer, which also restarted my wireless again though I don't think it's a wireless issue, and am still having the same problem. Anyone have any suggestions on trying to fix this? I'd really rather not have to redownload the patches as my connection hits 10k-20k/second tops.

It's not a wireless issue.
I've rebooted my computer/re-installed the game a ton of times now.
It's doing the same thing, going to the splash screen then nothing.

for anyone that may currently or in the future be experiencing this problem, they will need you to send them the logserver logs per the description on this page, so if you include this with your initial bug report it may speed things up. i also included a dxdiag though not sure if they'll need it.

thanks for pointing this thread out, from whats in it i was able to fix my problem. i posted the steps i took to fix it on that thread as well. so anyone reading this that is having the same problem, click the above link and read my solution there. :)
