Gallente ships are (what I-¦ve hard from many other players too), build a little bit "Organic".
This is why I want to know if it is a good Idea or not, if you can change the color-¦s of the Gallente Ships (this green purple thingy on the ships) into dark orange or pearl red, like on the Gallente Concord-¦s Megathron. (Because I don-¦t think blood is green...)
I think this design would look much butter to the Gallentean ships as this creepy green ^-^

What a brilliant angle for improving the camouflage we currently have to endure.
I hope you got to see the Megathron Navy Issue of old, with it's silver linings. What a magnificent sight it was. And then someone decided to desecrate it's beauty and give it a camouflage makeover.
Since the Megathrons you mention already have the red paint, I doubt we'll see it on other Gallente hulls. That said, I hope they pick up your idea and do something both about the regular hulls as well as change the Gallente Navy colors. |

Yes.. But why are the Minmatar ships rusted (in space) ?

One can argue they use old parts they salvaged, who knows where they come from, could be planetside components they used? If I'm not mistaken there is an official lore explanation and its probably IIRC something similar to what I just said; something to do with utilising spar parts from discarded empire technology. But find ways to tweak and utilise them to their best configurations..I mean there has to be a reason why they look like they fly ships that look dated and technologically speaking is dated (projectile based weapons that look like machine guns?) compared to say Gallente's expertise in drones, Amarr lasers and Caldari shield and missile advancements?
or....they're not exactly rusted (texture colors aside) and are simply weathered? (it might be space but I'm pretty sure things don't look shiny and clean forever not without the classified space paint that the rest of the empire uses hehe) |
