Where can I find the algorithms used for these?

i dont think they hand that information out mate, as far as i know its completely random and generated by the server side itself, your client simply displays the data the server tells it to

Edited by: Taedrin on 18/03/2009 13:37:27 You hack into CCP's servers and do some reverse engineering with the machine code and derive the algorithms from that while you spend a few years in a federal prison (cause black/grey-hat hacking is illegal).
Other than that, the only thing we know is that high sec wormholes *tend* to be safer, while lower sec wormholes tend to be more dangerous.

Im sure we can deduce the algorithm by the pattern over time.

Might be possible, but would require a rather large pool of samples to analyze, I would think. However, such algorithms would be approximations at best, and not exact. |

Enough players are online scanning for them to report patterns. Even an approximation is useful. |

CCP are constantly rebalancing and changing on an almost weekly basis. Basically they constantly fiddle with the algathrim as part of the balancing process. |

I found a high sec wh that led to wh-space with 2 carriers in side. =] |

low sec to low sec jumps tend to be interesting at best
Majority of low sec are to low sec ( except wormhole ones) then if theres a linker 0.0 or high sec.
Most consecutive k - w - k space was 6 w systems between. Like a daisy chain
0.0 system links from high and low sec always tend to be totally useless or they have 50 reds n local
