if it ain't broke .... it don't need fixing !!!
now, this is not another go at CCP for medling with things that r not broken and leaving things that are (though that is a worthy subject)
no ... this is a matter of mass frustratiuon.
Why do items that don't need repairing appear in the repair menu at a station? forcing us to scroll through a mass list of all items (over 600 in my case, and i'm sure others r simillar) Why can't it just list damages items? it was anoying enough when it listed alphabeticly, now its random its a nightmare trying to repair 9 drones or anything really it can't be hard to alter it to list damaged items only, it would please alot of people, and displease no one
Smoke me a kipper, i'll be back for breakfast! |

Repackage your items on occasion, they wont appear in the list.

Doesn't need locking ... re-phrasing, perhaps. And moved to the correct forum.
The actual request seems to be:
Idea for UI Improvement - Change the listing of items in a stations repair facility to only display damaged items.
Which isn't a bad request, although the repair facility is used for more than just repair, it can also be used for repackaging ... but since that CAN be done elsewhere, I suppose it doesn't need to be available here? Uncertain as to that. |

a solution to a waste of time should never be another waste of time.
but, it's probably because it would take a lot longer to SQL out the damamged mods and display them than it would to just display them all. printing of data usually isn't a DB bottleneck. but the searching and checking of lists to meet a boolean expression is very intensive. it's pretty much why SQL-type programs were made. maybe a very simple fix would be to allow the list to be sorted by amount of damage (%) and then you can sort it so mods needing repairs are at the top...?
there is a fine, but dissasterous line between a fart and a shart. i suggest you make sure which side you want to be on... |

Well, repair the whole ship, drones and all. you need to repakage the drones after - you can do this while they are in your drone bay. |
