So maybe it's just me, but this seems a tad wrong. The Shade. (i.e. Penumbra Alliance, since there are no other "real" corps in said alliance) killboard censors all of its loss-mails.
More specifically:
- Their killboard does not display items fitted to lost ships.
- Their killboard does not show the amount of ISK lost for said items it does not display.
- Their killboard does not allow the viewing of the original loss killmail.
TBQH, while their board at least does calculate the total ISK lost (including modules) into the overall statistics, this amount of censoring makes posting losses kind of a joke. You guys might as well just not post them.
And anyway, what are you guys afraid of, us knowing about your lolfits? Maybe you have some "uber leet pwnmobile fit of raep" you want to keep a secret? Too bad your losses are available in full on the killboards of other corps/alliances who pewpew you.

Wait, so they have a killboard and you are complaining about how they have it set-up?
Maybe you should forget about other peoples killboards and focus on your own stuff, it is THEIR killboard after all.

Oh wait, I just realized that having an inaccurate killboard destroys the entire point of even having one setup, and is essentially made of fail...

I dont censor my loss mails because I never get any! I PWN everything! I once took down a naglfar in a iteron. I'd have ransomed him but I didn't think he had any isk left and the tears were worth it anyway.

They aren't censored - they just choose not to show lossmail fittings to people outside the corp who don't have the password to log into the board.
Considering killboards are easily the best intel tool in the game, why make it easy for someone else to gather intel on you? Sure they can still do it by trolling countless hundred other boards and gathering them all that way ... but thats a lot more work :)
