I'm in need of a package for SMF http://simplemachines.org or a php package (SMF Preferred) that uses a MYSQL or SQL backend. Please read the following
Overall Goal of web application:
Allow for long term corporation data gathering for donations, transactions and history, so that we may go back in the past longer then what is available in the short journal available to download via CSV or what is online.
To provide our players the same information longer then what is available.
To validate prospective people that apply to our corporation viewing there alts and who they are connected with from their donations.
To provide a tree listing of Mains and alts of players, and to provide a profile of a player online that is easily accessible
Help our trainers evaluate people skills and give them a path to help them succeed in game.
Readily expandable for Corporations if we decide to open our alliance, CEO would need access to their own players and not to be able to view other in the corporation unless given permission.
Scope:
User will register on the forums or update their profile to include an API Key. The system will ask you which one your main is and associate it to their profile. (If the package is none SMF it will not need to be integrated into the profile, but a hyperlink should be given so that they can associate their profile to the hyperlink in there user profile on the forum) I would prefer that the initial setup for the users be built into the existing SMF mod for user integration http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=926246
After the API key and character are selected the system will download their skills, there journal, wallet, market transactions, employment details, assests and any other information that can be gathered for each of the three characters.
Once the data is downloaded to the MYSSQL server the data should be able to be queried on use a web front end to look up any data gathered. E.g. looking for donations, money transfers, ect.
Once a day, I would need this system to automatically download the latest journal, skills, market transaction assests, wallet ect...
The interface for viewing this information should be available only to people that have a group using SMF integration or password using PHP.
Also, Corporation information should be able to registered, e.g. a corporation CEO joins, and he registers his corporation and then enters his API and will download the assests, journal, market transactions, in space items ect..
IÆm sure IÆm missing some granular detail here, but itÆs an outline on what I would like to do.
