I have explored a few wormholes, and the ORE deposits look great. I want to mine them but I keep being told it's not worth it. I live in high sec, and the roids are just nearly non-existant. Anyone have a viable method of mining in WH Space? Small group or solo?

Solo depends on luck, esp. now that rats are hanging out at wormholes. Day 1/2/3 I would have bookmarked the hole, flown through with a small frig, scanned and bookmarked the gas or roids, gone back for my miner and headed in. Nowadays you need a bit more than that with the new popularity of wormhole camping.
Small gang? Sure. Why not? works essentially the same as losec mining, right?

There are serious logistics concerns when mining in highsec WH space.
And one other issue fold since WH space is effectivly 0.0 other people can and will go in there , on the bright side most people generally ignore grav sites.
But the main problem is freighting stuff out , a solo miner is filling a bit under 3 cans per hour. And that means to effectivly get the ore out of there you will need a friendly orca or iteron doing the transport for you. With a lot more jumps that can ofcourse be done by a common industrial but again it does become a logistical issue.
The other part is related to the first and is based on the mass limit most wormholes have. This limit more or less ensures that hauling will over time close the wormhole and thereby ending your op. Unless ofcourse the wormhole closes on its on(in my experience they rarely last more than 24h).

mining in wspace is probably best done by a corp that has established a POS with a refining array. Good for getting highsec ores ores for building ammo and drones at the POS and adding some zyd and mega to the loot and salvage export runs. Even then you might be better off harvesting gas and bring in the mins you need or hauling in ammo and drones in bulk.

corp who has a pos and a rorqual in there, the refinery array is so inefficent that you'd be better off mining empire ore for your time. With a rorqual though you can compress it to small enough you can take out TONS of ore on a freighter, litterly scary amounts of ore if it was uncompressed.
The question is, how feasible is it to predict where the exits/entrances are on a given w-hole system so that you can get your ships in to fuel and bring supplies in and take out resources.

My corp and i have thought about putting up a pos. You would have to keep an alt or two in the corp logged off in there at the pos to scan your way out, and find where the wormholes are to get stuff in-out. Logistics would be the hardest thing, when you get the chance move as much in(fuel, ammo, bpo's or other pos parts) and move out as much as you can(ore, loot, salvage). Problem is you have to be able to leave it running for weeks with no fuel runs, so you have to load up with fuel. Than replace that fuel with minnerals, loot untill a run can be made.
