Assuming the best setups possible...
I am thinking MOA and BB/EW pairs being a bit better than the following :
BB/EW and Thorax - nice but missiles only from BB/EW
BB/EW and Vexor - drones from Vexor are nice...
Any other more powerful PvP pairs possible ? PLS give reasons why with setups. Thx.

Its Blackbird and Thorax no question. Thorax does the most damage of any cruiser, and the Blackbird makes sure the Thorax isnt harmed by using electronic gadgetry to jam the enemy. Obviously other pairs can work well if you're a good pilot... but this is the easiest one to do, tried and proven, and difficult to counter.

I have had awesome results in a Caldari/Gallente Shuttle Duo. It always ends in poddings.

I use BB to lock down ship, I dissable warp engines and sensor damp battleships down to about 3km lock range, While pounding them with heavy missiles in my caracal.

Well without a doubt the bb has got to be included in the tag team du to its impressive ew skills
however i would say there are 3 ships that excel as its team mate.
1. thorax if hard hitting with heavy drone backup will cause serious trouble for any ship
2. Rupture, whilethe guns seem nerfed the 720mm still hit well and hard, i have a average of 150hp per hit and 450 wreaking hits. this makes it a good long range backup for a bb.
3. Maller, Good against shilds with there lasers they can keep up a assult forlong periods of time without haveing to reload.

You guys are taking two good ships and setting them up as stand alone ships and then combining them in a team.
If you take two seperate ships and combine them to form devastor you might have some interesting results.
Instead of a Caracal and a Blackbird how about just use two caracals and then spread out the blackbirds loadout among your combined 8 medium slots. Or 2 Moas so you can have 8 guns and 4 heavy launchers against your foe. Something of that nature.
I know it's hard getting people to work as a team, but that is the key to victory, do that and skill points and ships don't make a whole lot of difference. However finding a team is very difficult, I haven't found one yet, maybe my days in revolution were the closest I came to finding that.
