I tried to make a courier contract to move a Orca and ran into a problem. I guess you cant make a contract to move more than 120,000 m3. Has this always been the cap ? am I missing a skill or something. |

Where possible people will split out the items, putting up many 120k m3 contracts.
That said, I would recommend you contact a company that does freighter service. Many of these have very good reputations and have references...you can setup a special deal with them, outside of contracts. You won't have the benefit of a for sure in game contract and neither will they, but you could perhaps setup a situation where you transfer it to one of their chars manually and you work out how you exchange the isk.
Obviously it is a lot less flexible, and there are no guarantee in game mechanics, but it could be possible to do arrangements like this.

They buy the Orca from ya for market value. They move it where it needs to be. When it's there you buy it back from them for market value plus the agreed cost for the transport.
If they don't deliver nothing is lost. You just buy yourself a new Orca. If they do ... even better.

If you are worried about being scammed, then you might consiter contacting Chribba to see if he will act as an intermediary and what his charges are.
EG the freighter corp pays the agreed collateral for the contract and you pay the agreed fees to him, upon completion he returns the collateral + contract cost to the frieghter company, less his cut.
This is possibly the only way I would undertake this type of operation.

This works somewhat similar BPO research contracts.
You contract the items to them for the value of the items. They contract the items back at the value + shipping fees. _______________ <Q> QUANT Hegemony QUANT is rebuilding, EVE-Mail me for recruitment info. Item Database |
