Lachesis prices are going up and I am helping them. I invite others to help me. The price at Jita 4-4 is currently 81M (up from 50M yesterday).
I gave hints before the patch that this market had not adjusted to the increased inputs price.
Jita price 90M within the week. That is short term the long term price will depend on the demand curve of this ship (In other words have sensitive to price Lachesis demand is). There are other t2 ships that are the same way, but you have to find those on your own.

Why would those ships go up in value?
Your Lachesis is like the Rook; nice but in the end it can't be nanoed and can't cloak so it is mostly worthless, or worth a lot less.

I believe there was excess supply produced with materials obtained at a cheaper price. I have finally been able to buy most of it up. The price will soon reflect the actual build cost. Calculate it yourself. 90M is a short term figure, it will go down as inventors enter the market, but some quick isk to be made.

the demand on that ship is WAAAY to low, you wont hold that price any long, the only reason to fly it was mainly because it was much cheaper than its cloaking version... -sig- Support the introduction of Blaze M crystals for Amarr!

Edited by: glas mir on 20/03/2009 11:40:52 yes the arazu and lachesis are substitutes. But they are not perfect substitutes. There will always be demand for lachesii even if most people prefer the arazu.
I don't know maybe I'm horribly wrong, but I have my isk where my mouth is and the upside is much greater than the downside. Worst case is I'll have to drop ship them out of the forge and spread them around.

i have no idea i dont trade in what ever it is your selling, i just say that posting that you are manipulating the market is a bad idea IMHO...
unless, you think you can spread a panic ofc, then its a good idea... (short sighted, but still good idea)

I've clearly described my goals and reasoning for market manipulation in the past with predicted and positive results. *shrug*. Just depends on the item in question.
OP's item in question does not meet my criteria however. It's only useful for very specific. highly organized lowsec gatecamps (hellooo rancer!). It's so easy to buy out all your low priced competition precisely because very few people compete for that niche item. The first producer to come along will destroy your profits.
I have about 30 celestis prints lying around. Heck, I could do it. Fortunately there's more profitable stuff to invent for now.

I bought a few lachesis' when they were around 38 mil when I initially heard about rapier nerf. Even if I was wrong about speculation you couldn't get much cheaper anyways. Ended up reselling most for marginally more, kept a couple for piloting purposes (have yet to actually fly one... probably reflecting their usefulness). --------------
