I got my first Rorqual last night and tried the ore compression on it. I turned on the Industrial core module, right clicked the compression BP for Omber, and picked manufacturing chose a slot (had 4 available) picked 1 run. The BP and 25,000 units of omber disappeared and it said it would take 1 minute to complete the job. The minute finished the Core module cycled through and off but the compressed ore never came out nor was my BP returned. The ore and the BP disappeared. Is this a glitch or did I miss a step as I thought it returned the items back to your cargo hold upon completion automatically. I right clicked another BP and picked manufacturing and it gave the 4 slots as available.

As the previous reply stated, like with any industry job you have to deliver it when it completes. Also note that the rorqual has a "quirk" though in that you have to be in seige mode to deliver the jobs. If you shut off the industrial core the stuff will appear to disappear until you reengage it.

I have had the same problem but I was still in industrial mode and still not able to retrieve my bpo's and my ore. So I still can't deliver any of these jobs because it shows up on the science and industry tab as not having any jobs to deliver. Has anyone else had this problem? Also when sheild hardners are active and I go to industrial mode the shield hardner grafics stay where the ship was(horizontal) while the ship goes vertical so it looks like a ghost image where the rorqual used to be. Anyone else seen this?

This is not a problem, this works as intended. You cannot deliver a job if you're not in indus reconfig mode. This may be useful to transport an extra load of ore, since you can desiege, jump out, siege in a new system and deliver the compressed ore there.

One of my corpies has noticed similar problems. He ended up putting in a petition for the mins.
