I currently can't play Eve because I don't have Shader2. I am planning on buying a new computer/laptop but it likely won't be until next month. I want to know how much isk I have. This there some utility I can download safely that can tell me how much isk I have. I want to know if I have enough isk to buy a timecard to extend my subscription another month (using someone else's PC which would be a great inconvenience) or if I have to cancel my subscription and start it up again when I get my own computer.

Ehm, the simplest way probably would be your character page on the Eve-Online site (ie this site). Go to http://www.eveonline.com/character/skilltree.asp, log in, select character, see "Total Cash".

Touche. I always forget, with all the cool 3rd party data miners, that CCP gives us some limited character tracking abilities through their site.

You can also download XML of your journal and transaction records to see if that phatteh item you placed a buy order for was filled, or etc. etc.

I've actually been using eve commander for that. I would like to see a lot of what he has done with his site applied to an application like EvEMon so I dont have to use a browser. Also an app or SITE THAT IS iPhone compatible would make me wet myself.

UGH.
Trust eve-commander at your peril.
EvEHQ does it better, I'd check it out if I was you. Assett manager, character planner, sjkill planner, ship fitter all in one app. If the dev would add a refining calculator and a industry planner, you'd need nothing else.

This did exactly what I needed. Thanks. I may look into the other tools at a later date.

Had a bad experience with their site, the full API key,m , and attempted account hacking. Got it resolved after a couple of rounds of password changing. Andf no, I wasn't fool enough to uuse the same login for EvE-Commander as I do in-game. Gave someone a lead on me, though.
It's circumstantial, admittedly, but odd that the attempted hack happened just days after I signed up for the site...now I use EvEHQ and don't bother.
Does the same things and more.
