I just got the mission "An Eye on Everything" as part of an epic story arc, and to my shock and and horror, I saw about t10 battle ships with 1.2 mil bounty accompany by 2 dreadnoughts. My question is: Do I come back in my battle ship and fight the dreads? If so, what res do I tank? The dreadnoughts where minmatar, while the BS where mega's.

I dont think youl have to kill them if its a L1 mission but if you get some friends together you can prolly make yourself some nice money and salvage.

I remember the mission.
They aren't attacking you, luckily. I don't remember the dreads staying there for long though. I think they warped fast.

Was that the one with the carrier as well? I think the next time I get the epic arc I might be inclined to bring my L4 mission ship and take them on. If it works, I'm farming it for a whole week, then decline the rest of the arc.
EDIT: nvm on the farming part - the mission completes as soon as you get into the deadspace location... bummer.

yeah I tried taking on the carrier spawn in my l4 mission runner,and I managed to take out mutiple cruisers,before I had to warp out. I doubt any 1 person would be able to tank it,they do way too much damage.

I can't imagine it would be that difficult to solo. There's only about 10 BSs, 10 BCs, and a carrier that doesn't shoot until you fire at it. That's easier than a lot of other L4 missions. You should be able to take 12-14 BSs plus accompanying ships at once if you run L4's routinely.

You don't really need to control aggro if it's just a bunch of battleships, though.

...because it's a level 1 mission and I don't feel like wasting my time on it...

Not sure what this means. There's no need to control aggro if you can survive simultaneous damage from all the ships in the pocket, which like I said above is routine for L4's. Did you mean something else?
