Death4free Caldari Neo Spartans	Posted - 2009.03.21 02:18:00 - [1] I recently went into low sec to rat and ran into some player that i target painted however his ship did not change to my preffered colour. My drake had the standard high slot and low slot fits. Here is what I had in the mid slots: (1) 10mn afterburner (1) survey scanner (1) sensor booster (1) TARGET PAINTER (1) ecm burst (1) Invulnerability Field I was under the impression (after reading the description) that a target painter paints other players ships. It says that it paints the other ship to make targetting easier. So for the duration of the module activation the ship should have been painted a different colour. This was not the case. I had my target painter active but the player did not change colour. Is this a bug? or did the opposing player use a rare module? Whats the point of using a target painter if it doesn't make the other player turn a different colour? Thanks in advance, D4F

You need a TARGET to paint it, u buy the target off the market, it looks kinda like a dart board, then u store it in cargo, then i fit a TP and activate it in space. Then u have to redock, but the target in your station hangar. Then wait for ambulation and u got a frisbee/target wadjamacallit. or somink... ----- I corpse tank... Ships r for noobs.

dr doooo	Posted - 2009.03.21 20:43:00 - [20] Did you activate the ECM. Bursting an ecm over most non-Minmatar ships will wash the paint off. If you look carefully though, you should still be able to see what looks like Richard-Cheese around the edges of the windows.

BallistaII Mutineers	Posted - 2009.03.22 04:00:00 - [22] to OP: there are different types of paint you can fit. oil paint sticks better but has poor tracking, while watercolor does not much **** but as tons of tracking. other things like acrylic paint are in the middle. i suggest oil for mothership or bigger, and watercolor for shuttle or smaller. /thread Nexus Kinnon for CCP President!!!!
