I was looking in recruit channel viewing all the corps
out there trying to get new members and started a convo
with a member of Goonfleet. I was told its a 500 mill
deposit with a freeform contract with 14 days on it
and at the end of 14 daysi get my money back.
Hey im not that high level yet this is an alt but i got 500 mill i'm game but is it Legit. Has CEO ever
verified 500 mill entrance deposit has anyone ever
joined that way. I still dont mind paying 500 mill
deposit or no deposit to join that size a corp I
am interested in a large 0.0 corp goon or former
bob or any other or a different one even i just
kinda know those 2 I was in bob long ago. I am new again to Eve though. No loyalties except to current small corp in Safe sec. Bob was warned by the way
long story. Question is though
Is Honorable in 500 mill deposit? Even if it was a possible scam i will not type in name of person here.

Thank you Jimer Lins. and it's official it was a scam attempt and all scams
are authorized by them except for scams involving timecodes and character
transfers. The only members that can acually invite a new member are
Brennah (Primary Diplomat) // Ceros X (Austrailian) // Darius JOHNSON (CEO) .... Jimer Lins for CSM :)

Its totally legit.
But the guy you were talking to is wrong, freeform is a scam.
select item exchange contract type and set the 500mil as your "I will give" and leave what you will receive blank.
Much easier for both of you to complete the transaction, no scam potential, and you'll be shooting ASSCAKES and other useless pet alliances in no time (kenny has to undock/log in for you to shoot them however).

Goons (and many other larger too) are notorious for their "recruitment scams". so let me save you the trouble and tell you what "happened" to you. You paid the ISK, and then very shortly found yourself on the receiving end of an ambush. You were laughed at and podded. Congrats, you are now an honorary member of goonfleet.

Since nobody is willing to be kind enough to tell you, it is indeed a scam. The Goons are notorious for recruitment scams. They advertise as being so very helpful to new players, then they turn right around and rip them off.
Everything you just listed above are red flags. It's very obvious that this is a recruitment scam.
You can accept this advice, or not. Your choice. I'll just sneak in a preemptive "I told you so" before it happens.

Its a well known fact that goons need the isk to pay for all the ship replacements that noobs inevitably cost them. You cant possibly run an empire of that size with little to no income, so they are forced to charge people for recruitment. Don't worry, once you are in they will provide you with everything so you don't need isk anyway.

but now that I got an alt in their Corp I can
help anyone join with a low pre payment fee
of 250 mill. This fee can be sent directly to
me as I will write a freeform contract and I will
also help you deliver all of your VALUABLE items
just seend them to me via contract make sure they
are not in a container. After you have done all
these things if you do not hear from me just
send a complaint to 1-800-whaa. And if you send me
all these things I'll say ur just totally cool.

understand is that there's a difference between
