I just found a wormhole that goes between two systems 5 jumps apart in the same region. Anyone found any closer together than that? nullnull

Perhaps he just found the one he came in through in the first place?

No I didnt. The 2 WHs in Onga led to each other.

Wow, that is actually useless.
At least this one (despite going only 5 jumps) lead to near-unpopulated space with plenty of cosmic sigs. Done two hacking sites, found an omber belt and another WH so far :) nullnull

trick quision!
they all are the shortest and longest wormholes because they exist at a single point in space, giving them no length or width.

I found one, went in, and to my horror discovered myself in Ironforge. Very irritated, I went back in thinking I could get back to where I started and ended up on my couch, sleeping.
I'll never be the same.

I haven't found any short distance ones like that yet but the other day I found 2 systems within 3-4 jumps of each other that had 2 wormholes each leading to a different unknown system.

Shortest I've found personally was four systems over, not entirely useless I guess. A corpmate of mine found one even shorter, three jumps.

We are discussing distance, not length/width.
But as the wormhole has no dimension and it actually connects two points in space with a tunnel of zero distance then the distance covered must also be zero.

I can go one better, I once double clicked in the direction of a wormhole and came out that said wormhole on the other side.
if you disagree with me then you should probably post a response and stop reading my signature. |

Wait.. Does that mean the person would see a loading bar like when jumping via stargate or will it just flash over? _________________________

on the issue of shortest ones, ive found 4 to date, and not one of them took me to w-hole space
one was metropolis - the vale of the silent (lowsec-nullsec) another was metropolis - delve (2 systems away from pr- )
now the shortest i ever had led back to the same system, but where id gone in about 3au from p4 in bosboger, i came out in the dead centre of bosboger, but 6au above the star.
total distance travelled approximately 11AU, not bad for 15 minutes worth of work :D

Now it needs to be a contest for who finds the closest connected WHs within the same system!
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

Fail.

Fail at understanding space. Wormhole to wormhole = no distance at all, thats why you travel instantly between those two points.
