Does anyone know what the targeting range of sleepers is? I'm not appearing to be having much luck trying to damp them.

They have standard NPC insta-infinite range-lock. RSDs have no effect on them unfortunately... --

I thought the whole point of the improved Sleeper AI was to make PvE more like PvP. Doesn't this pretty much throw that idea out the window? Winter is my season; midnight, my hour; silence, my anthem. |

Well when it comes to RSD's, fighting the sleepers is almost exactly like PVP. RSD's do nothing against sleepers, and do practically nothing against normal players.
See just like pvp.
If I had an Alt I would probably post with it... |

Certain EWAR being ineffective against NPCs is something they plan to do but didn't get around to with the release. As of now, I think it's just Sensor Damps and Warp Scramblers, and to a lesser extent NOS. Though NPCs don't warp so scramblers aren't much of an issue, and NOS at least lowers the chance of NPC getting a rep cycle in. So basically just damps that do nothing.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

Using a bonused ship this is a misconception but I guess people liked it better when damps were the old ECM (i.e. I-win) where invulnerability mode was nearly guaranteed by bringing a damp ship.
But I agree, sleeper's should be affected by damps as well as any other e-war otherwise it's kinda discriminatory towards gallente ewar (talking specialized ships here) ________________________________________ "I robbed a goon and I liked it" - Suas |

When fighting 1 or two opponents in pvp damps can be quite useful. But with sleepers it's generally 6 or more.
But even with only one sleeper you can't damp them effectively.
