Hey is it just me who is going insane from the new ingame map?
its almost imposible to click on the f'ing system i want...
and furthermore unblurr the sov map...
i feel like i am blind every time i look at it!

Yea I agree it sucks, I cant find any blips anymore, and when I do find one after much eyeballing around I cant click on it, its like a bad joke

Oh thank God, it's not just me then!
The new map has been driving me nuts since release- like you said, trying to click on the system you want is impossible (particularly when examining statistics like number of pilots in system in the last hour)... stupid thing seems to pull your cursor to the closest & largest blob on the map at the time... "no, it IS this sytem you want, not the one you're actually trying to click".
Zooming in & panning also drives me nuts- as soon as you pan it zooms out again and I won't even start on the constant popping up of useless information which it then drags & sticks the cursor to

Yes, its terrible, though I find right clicking the system you are trying to select works more often......

I agree, first off it doesnt open centered on your current system, it opens like zoomed in on nothing, which sucks.
Also it feels more "flat" than before, lol i dont know why, something just feels wrong when rotating it.
And when using certain star filters, the friggin stars cant be selected, the mouse cursor is offset somehow.

It sucks monkeys so hard it makes them limp and screech in pain.

They didn't listen when we complained about it on SiSi, what makes you think they'll listen now ?

Ah, I was almost turned to drink because it kept auto-selecting my current system which was 'close' but NOT what I needed to look at URGENTLY!
Please, remove that weird 'auto-select' feature. If I want the system I am in, I'll zoom in and click it without missing.

The map sucked before this patch anyway, compared to how it used to be, now it's just broken on top.

The worst part for me, and this applies to both the galaxy map and the new scanning system map, is when you zoom in its almost impossible to pan around with any accuracy. The sensitivity doesn't seem to change when you zoom in, as would be natural, so a twitch of the mouse sends you all over the place.
This would be a great way to introduce a new ISK sink actually, have CCP develop some actually software packages which redefine how the user interface works and let us buy them for our ship.
WTB T2 Autopilot which uses my damned afterburner...

Yes well, sadly when the new models came to the game we lost all the shiney T2 ship bits that made the ships look at least somewhat unique. Now T2 just means new numbers and a new paintjob.

The "show on map" button for corporations doesn't show any dots anymore, that's about the only thing that bothers me. Yay for useful features broken into uselessness.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

Another thing that drives me nuts too is when you hover over a region and you don't get highlighted the systems like it used too. I used that feature a LOT
