I got a WoW trial cd mailed to me today. I have never played the game nor been to thier website and EvE is the only game I play. CCP please tell me you are not selling my personal information to competitors for a quick buck.  |

EVE might be the only game you play, but how many services that require your personal information have you signed up for? More than just EVE that is for sure.

That's the wierd thing. Most of the time I just lie about my personal info. These guys got my full address like what i put in eve. |

ahh you shouldnt worry about it, Im sure ccp isnt selling your info around hahah, Blizzard can afford to that, they worth around 900million-1billion, worth more now because of Blizzard/Activision teaming up

lol if you live in the UK you will probably find the the people who sold your personal info were in fact the British government.The have already openly admitted to doing it in the national papers ..... something to do with them being a bit broke atm ... and needing to fund their MP`s expenses

If i remember rightly what you should do is contact blizzard, ask where they got your info, and ask that that info be deleted, then phone whoever supplied the info and ask them where they got it, and to delete it and so on.
In the UK the data protection act has you covered but im not sure about the EU or US.

not just yet .....i dont speak legalese ......but somehow and i dont understand how they have managed to do it im not a bloody lawyer ...but they have admitted disclosing info to companies ... theres even a data wharehouse in the states that hold our uk data...that somehow managed to "leak" our data .. it happend sometime lastyear about last summer .
