I have 2 accounts (both only 1 year old sadly) an i was thinking of doing some low sec/0.0 solo PvP with them. My main flies an absolution for a quite some time. Hell, after six months I was doing L4 missions solo with in a pulse setup absolution twice as fast as an abaddon (bragging :P). Atm I'm doing some exploration in low sec and so I had the opportunity to kill some pirates in it with a non-PvP setup (except a scrambler) so I think he is OK. My alt flies a curse, he's a jack of all trades and so he can only use vampires with drones atm. Both chars specialized in passive armor tanking. The thing is I cant think of a good setup for both my ships.
For my absolution i would use:
High slots: 5x Heavy Pulse II
1x Focus Medium Pulse II
Medium Slots: Scrambler II
Medium Cap Booster II
Webber II
Low Slots: Medium 'Accommodation' Rep
1600mm tungsten plate
2x Adaptive Nano plates II
1x Thermal Membrane II
2x Heat Sinks II
Drones: 5x Hornets II (for some kinetic dmg)
Rigs: 2x Trimark Pump I
Ammo: AN Multifrequency M
With this setup EFT (btw with implants to fit everything and higher dps) it shows that I have more then 15,6k armor, resists around 80%, over 94k effective hp and 709 dps -63 dps from drones-. I even have enough CPU for a prototype cloaking device. I know I don't have a microwarp/aft--only 3 slots is very annoying if u want to PvP-- but I was thinking in surviving fast targets with a webber rather then catching everything out there, beside it has a max speed of 180m/s, not much but with a webber fitted its pretty ok. What I'm afraid of it's ECM. That's where the other char should help with his curse I think. Also I don't use Conflagration due to it's penalties, beside the bonus dmg compared to AN Multi it's insignificant.
Is the above setup is good considering it would be in a gang with a curse? And what should I fit (or even train) on the curse in this case?

Very scary combo, like if you would have a chance against absolution then your totally screwed by a curse also.
To me absolution allows for compramise the curse does not very scary little ship, suggest baiting and bringing the curse in for second's.

switch the web and scram for named and 1600 for another rep and then use enams booster go with 2 reps not 1 rep plus plate. i could be wrong
depending on amount you want to spend look for mediation and or greaves armor reps

How about the curse? What should I fit on it considering the fact that my main will fly an absolution. And would a remote armor rep on both ships would be a bad idea or not? |

1x SS Warp Scrambler
1x DB Medium Cap Booster
2x MAR IIs
2x DB EANMs
1x DCU II
2x Heat Sink IIs
2x Aux Nano Pumps
5x Warrior IIs
I'm pretty sure it fits without faction as well.
