Edited by: Snacks Snackton on 23/03/2009 13:36:07 Hello!
My learning skills are: all rank 1 at 4 exept learning wich is at 5, all rank 3 at lvl 3. Implants: +3 for everything exept charisma wich is at +2.
My main, Snacks, is currently a miner but with recent changes you can change stats and I am planning to make him a mission runner instead. So what I am wondering is where I am to put his stats to help mission running skill training as much as possible.
Any ideas? :) All help is quite appreciated seeing as how I am quite new to EVE.

All Spaceship Command skills (frigate, cruiser, battlecruiser, etc.) require a mix of perception and willpower. Increasing those attributes will decrease those training times of those skills.
Both gunnery and missiles also consist of a mixture of perception and willpower, so if you want to get your gank (damage dealing skills) up quick, emphasize those attributes.

It's best to be balanced tbh. All the ship and missile skills are perc/will but all your electronics and engineering skills (shields/tank) are going to be int/mem. When it comes to missions, it's better when your starting off to be able to tank more than deal more, so get those up first!

If training a wide variety of skills(engineering, mechanic, spaceship command, gunnery/missiles/drones), your best bet is 12 Per, 12 Int, 5 everything else. My recommendation is to plan out a years' worth of skills in EVEMon and then tweak the stats for your best training time.

No need to think about attribute mapping too much. Get EFT and put in the ships and modules you want to fly eventually, figure out what skills you need to get those, then put those skills into EVEMon and let EVEMon tell you what attributes you need to speed up your learning. Based on the learning skills EVEMon recommends, you can match them with attribute implants and re-mapping.
What others above said is good general advice, but in the end you need to do some homework on your own to figure out what's best for you.
