Okay heres the deal Building a new computer today and i am REALLY not up for installing different video driver versions until i find on that works the best, so, those of you with newer nvidia based cards, please share your driver version and its issues. I know that there is still that invisable texture problem, but it doesnt bug me much, i care more about their ability to start eve.exe and performance.
also input about fps in fleet battles would be nice

Edited by: Alex deLarge on 19/08/2004 20:05:24 I am using the latest from nVidia, 61.77, and I have no stability issues at all. But the fps are not as good as one would expect. One thing that I have noticed is that it does not matter whaat resolution I use, 1024x768 or 1600x1200, I still get about the same fps.
------ What does God want? Does God want goodness or the choice of goodness? Is a man who chooses the bad perhaps in some way better than a man who has the good imposed upon him? ------ |

For the person getting the same FPS no matter what resolution it means you've maxed out your system and the graphics card is no longer the bottle neck, since eve really doesn't hit a decent system preety hard my guess is your probly on a really old system 3 - 4 tech (or worse) or you have decent enough FPS you are not going to notice a gain beyound what you already have.
