I have done this mission so many times, but after the last patch/expansion. I had an issue, right when I blew up the structure. The structure popped I lost all shields new rat spawned I was in structure and I went pop. Happened in seconds, was like wtf just happened? I looked in local and seen the mission info, said something to the extent of damage dealt to ships because of all the ammo that was loaded. Something to that effect, has anyone received damage from any structure in game going boom?
I can sit and tank about any mission, have been one or two times where the finally ate away at shield and i warped aw away. But they are far and few in between.

Found in a guide-
Be careful when you blow it up. It deals 3000 Exp AOE damage (at 0% Exp resistance) with a blast radius of between 30-40km.
Might want to start reading the mission guides or you should expect more surprises

The structure in Damsel in Distress has caused me damage as far back as I can remember, and, as far as I can tell, since it was introduced. When you are shooting the structure, the final wave turns up (depending on your DPS) not long before the structure pops, and, if your tank is not strong or has been turned off prematurely, you can take a lot of damage very quickly.

Thanks, never have I received damage on this mission and I always blow the structure before I finish the second to last wave. I have done that countless times.
