Can someone explain to me how a 3.5mil Hulk Pilot can get an offer of 1.8bil yet a 8mil Hulk Pilot has only got one offer so far for 1.5? Very new to this whole selling chars thing and am very curious is all? Can somone elaborate for me please.

Personally I looks for learning skills, cybernetics skill rank, and focus. I add a bit more for learning per SP than other skills, as well as a full Cybernetics V. I also just like the way a focused character looks. So those are my personal points when buying.

From my experience, a hulk pilot has an exponentially decreasing value. Basically the following:
SP - Value
3.5m-5m - 1.5 to 2.0 bil
5m-15m - 1.5 to 2.5 bil
15m-20m - 2.0 to 3.0 bil

Very correct. Only exception is "specialization"
For example a Max recon pilot.. Like Rapier, Arazu, Falcon. ETC with well say 15mill sp will sell for noticeable more than a character with 15m SP in various ok recon ok this ok that skills.. Non specialization basically.

it also depends on what people are looking for
example
2 miners of 5.1sp are for sale both are prices at 1,5 bilion but one is a male character and the other a female
if i wanted a female i would try to out bid on the female char and with that try the price would rise as other people are also looking for a female car (or vise versa with the male char)
