As my previous recruiting post was rather short and uninformative: Recruiting - Round two. http://thndr.taniz.org
Distant Thunder is a newly formed mercenary corporation. Our primary goal is to provide our members with a place to call home, and good company. We do not force our members to participate in any group activities, although it is encouraged. Fact remains, this is a game and we are a
bunch of friends who are here to have fun. We also want to support our members in times of need, both financially and by means of firepower.
Distant Thunder focuses on combat. We engage in both PvP and PvE combat, either pursuing our own gains or those of our members, or acting as sellswords. In order to be self sufficient, as well as provide the players with things to do in times of peace, we also maintain science, production
and mining divisions.
Distant Thunder welcomes players of all races and occupations. We seek both new players, along with older more experienced ones. For the experienced players we offer command duties, once loyalty has been proved and trust established. New players receive training whenever
they want from our more experienced members, and are presented with the opportunity of rising through the ranks after proving their worth.
The Corporation takes pride in remaining a true mercenary corporation. The members of Distant Thunder are never to be caught doing acts of piracy or theft in empire space. As the regions outside the empires are lawless, we do not see a need to abide by CONCORD regulations there.

Hi,
As a new member of Distant Thunder, and an inexperienced EVE player I have a few things to add.
We are a very sociable group of people. We are always chatting about this or that. I think it is fun even before I leave my hangar and enter space  . Furthermore, as a relatively inexperienced player, I really appreciate the knowledge of the more experienced members. I learn something new from them every session.
It looks like I'll be having a lot of fun in the future
