I have a high sec research POS and when I tried to start a research job this evening I was told I had no labs in the system. So I flew out to the station and noticed under the management screen it showed I now needed a charter for every faction per hour instead of only for the one whose area I was in. Anyone else had this problem? I can't belive its intended to be this way. So hopefully its a bug that will be fixed soon.

Put in charters for the faction that your POS is located in.

It has the required charters from the controling faction. Unfortunately for some reason it will not allow me to start any jobs it simply states I have no available slots in the system. Not sure whats causeing it, but I thought it might be asking for the other faction charters since it shows them as being required, could not remember if it always said that or not. Other then that it has all of the requirements and shows everything as online.

Does it say that YOU don't have available slots or there's no research facilities available?
Did you change corp recently, your old research job slot might not have been released

Logged back into game and it now is working properly however what it was doing is when you would click the button to choose your installation it would say no installations found useing filters set even though they were set properly as I have done thousands of times. Might have been a lag issue although I did try it a few times with same result. In any case its working now so thanks for your time.

charters are a fuel and if they were not correctly in your POS fuel bay the POS would simply go offline,
the problem with your labs is completely seperate, and unrelated, Even if your labs are offline you can still see them with the right filters
