If one wanted to trade with a POS owner in WH space, what tools are available to facilitate such trade? Can you set up contracts (both item exchange or courier) based on a WH pos?
And by trade, I don't mean just casually handing over goods to a fellow corp mate. I mean working with a corporation as a neutral merchant and exchanging goods and ISK in a secure manner to minimize the ability for either party to screw over the other.
I'm familiar with the traditional tools for trade, but I'm not sure how those apply in WH's and/or with POSes. I'm just looking for a broad proof of concept response here. I don't make minerals. I just make ore 20% cooler. |

There's really no mechanics for it at all. Your best bet is probably to use a convenient link to K-space and conduct your business there. |

The only real way that I can think of would be placing things inside of an anchored secure container with a password, and providing the password after you recieve isk. This however is still fraught with chances to scam, because you could still just not provide the password, or you could provide the password and not be provided the isk. All of which leads back to you would be better off using a neutral 3rd party or going back to highsec and using contracts there.

Understood. So this leads me to my next question.
If you are a WH POS owner and some person whom you do not know pops into the WH and informs you via local that there is a wormhole leading to X system currently open and that you have X goods available (say fuel blocks) there, how likely are you to send someone out to do business? (Assuming you actually need what is being advertised). I don't make minerals. I just make ore 20% cooler. |

Is there any way for the WH dweller to verify that the destination system is high sec? Of course I would not expect anyone to go on my word alone. I don't make minerals. I just make ore 20% cooler. |

No there isn't a way to verify it other than scan it down yourself. |

You could try convoing the owners are doing race via contract in kspace, but you'd better be willing to pay a decent price. Wormhole dwellers have no problem scanning down a route out, so keep that in mind. |

Nothing is 100% safe but I have often thought of this myself.
The way I was thinking of doing this is setting up a Small POS anchored but not online and has no offensive structures. When it is time for a trade you online the POS, give the other party the password, make your trade and move on. Not having offensive structures lets the other party scan it and see the POS composition.
It is a low investment, on-lines quickly, and gives a relatively safe place to Jet a can in a temporary location. When it is offline and someone is board enough to shoot it who cares GǪ itGÇÖs a small POS.
I have done a bit of WH trading and I always hate the Jet Can in space method.

Pretty much anyone who actually tries talking in WH local starts the hunting process. |
