Awesome story, really. I think that I enjoyed the 425mm price raise some time ago, maybe it was you (I had a small pile of them from when I started the trading thing that I had forgotten at that time).

I'd suggest he dump his stock, even if at a loss. You're Meta-1 at best, not worth stocking. |

FANTASTIC story, great read. I wasn't sure about starting this trader/miner alt but this has proved that I can have fun with her, thanks for taking the time to write it out.

Good read. Your flawless way of writing english in such a detailing way was a pleasure to read.
Also for the ethics question.
"It's nothing personal, Jack. It's just good business."
There's nothing unethical about it, none what so ever. It's their decision to buy the price you ask. It's not like you're shoving it down their throats. ------ Heart for isk, Balls for risk. |

I appreciate the comments mate, really I do. And for those of you who have been contacting my in game to tell me what you liked (or couldn't stand) about my story, I also wanted to say thank you. A grand part of the allure with which EvE has won me over is the slew of sandbox elements, irrefutably most important of which is the stellar community.
Given the sheer quantity of influential events that place every day for every pilot, I think it's safe to say you can expect part two in a few months. Maybe I'll name it "The Isk Keeper: Reloaded," ? =P Fly safe mates!

Very impressive Lecherito
I've been playing eve now for over 4 years, and I hadn't worked out this market stuff yet. You're teaching me; I may have more isk than you do, but that's due only to time spent missioning; you're working 'smart' rather than well, 'lots'...
You're an inspiration to beginning traders such as myself

Good read.
The first MMO I ever played was actually a lot like EVE in most respects, but it did some things better. This trade thing you figured out is actually the first thing that original game teaches you. Buy for little, sell for a lot. I think maybe that is something CCP should touch on sometime, it is another career possibility in EVE.

From someone who is newer to Eve I must say this story is an awesome tale of perseverance and will definitely help me when I decide to make the turn toward trading.
Thanks Mate!

Nice story, almost reflect mine when I decided to no rat anymore...2 years ago, but I started with 100mln's an ZYD bussines, slowly moving toward several freighter alts and other mineral bussines, changing in to 200+ marketorders tycoon in some god forgotten s..thole region.

Excellent and inspirational read. Looking forward to the next installment.
Oh, and for anyone wondering about Lee Anderson's (mis)use of written English, I would say that he is a native British who never read (i.e. novels and the like) much during his early years. His use of language is highly idiomatic and riddled with wrong spellings of similar sounding words (e.g. "are" instead of 'our'). It is a saddeningly common problem.
