Cargo Expander IIs.
They only require Hull Upgrades level 2, and they give the most space. --- When Master Chief killed the last of the covenant he let go of the turret and picked up two rocket launchers. "It's action time," he said. Then he pointed and fired the rockets at the black hol |

There are also rigs you can use.
The T1's aren't bad though not as good as the II's. Don't use the Civilian version. It messes up your ship far more than it expands your cargo hold.
Do be aware that these things slow your ship down. Put on an MWD and ... that doesn't matter any more.

Being aware of the speed penalty is a good thing - but an MWD isn't always necessary though. If you're just fitting a cargo ship to haul things between stations, then you're just warping between stations and gates - so your speed isn't really relevant (since you're warping to zero on every place you want to be), and an MWD won't help you anyway.
On the other hand, if you're fitting cargo expanders for something like salvaging a wreck field, or you're going to let your ship haul cargo between systems on autopilot, then a MWD can be useful (in the latter case, drag the MWD to the F1 button and then jam it down with a weight before going AFK). Just don't take cargo expanders = MWD as gospel; be aware of the speed penalties and take this into account when setting up your ship.

Yeah. That was a simplistic answer I gave.
I use cargo expanders on industrials, some miners and destroyers. I usually put an afterburner on the Industrials and an MWD on the salvager destroyers.
For the industrial it depends on what you're going to use it for. If you're just jumping from system to system - as long as you always warp to 0 - you'll never need it. But if you're hauling for a miner or mining semi-AFK and moving about in an Asteroid belt some it comes in handy. You can always just bookmark the next asteroid you want to go to, warp back to your base and then warp back to your bookmarked asteroid but that seems a little bit much for just moving a few kilometers over. The distance to your base and the distance to the asteroid plus the time to create the bookmark would be the factors as to which is faster. Then of course there are all those bookmarks cluttering up your people and places you need to maintain with folders, removals or deletions. I actually haven't ever used a MWD on an Industrial ... though I suppose I could.

I've been away awhile, but are there things that help you turn faster to line up with the gate or station for warp? That would be the real help it seems if you are just hauling station to station.

Search under "inertia stabilizers" to find all the versions and their prereq's.

Indeed - you'd be amazed at the agility difference between an industrial fitted with all I-stabs and one fitted with all cargo expanders. I have an indy set up like that for picking up medium-sized cargo (e.g. a few thousand cubic metres) and it's amazingly how quickly it gets into warp for a ship class that is normally thought of as sluggish.

Orca + inertia stabs + 1 AB cycle = fast warping (for an orca)
