1.Can you anchor poses at the moons?
2.How do you tell the difficulty of the WH space?
3.How can you tell when the WH will collapse?
4.Can capital ships jump to these WH systems?

There is a chart but I can't find it atm, try searching for wh system class or something similar. 3. Not accurately. But the description of the wh gives you a clue.
has not yet begun it's natural cycle of decay means more than 24h left. ... and won't last another day means somewhere between 6h and 24h left. is reaching the end of it's natural lifetime means less than 6h left. That's only the time limit of the wh, it can also collapse if it's mass limit is reached.
4. Probably not, I dont know if you can put up cynos in wh space but even if you could I doubt you could jump to them.

Sorry im a little confused by this. i see now you can anchor poses in wh space but can you get anything from the moons?
and say i anchor a pos and the wh closes.. the system is lost forever now?
what is the benifit of anchoring poses in wh space?

Edited by: Induc on 29/03/2009 04:00:05 You can anchor a POS at a moon in w-space but there's no moon material to mine. As long as there's someone left in the w-space he can just scan a new exit. A wh system always has at least one exit to k-space.
The benefit would be safe drop off location for loot/salvage/gas. Also you can anchor a reactor and some silos and start processing the gas into polymers.

hmm ok thanks for your help.
so aslong as there is one person in the wh-space it will stay there. but if i probe out another WH then the WH could lead to middle of goons space or where ever.

1) Yes. Many people do. As to the point without moon minerals: it's a floating base in wormhole space. You can store spare ships, fittings, etc. there, all protected by huge winguns.
2) There are 6 "Classes". Class 1-3 show as "Unknown" in the wormhole description, 4-5 show as "Dangerous unknown" and 6 shows as "Deadly unknown"
3) Depends. Wormholes collapse based on two criteria. When it runs out of time, it will collapse...and when too much mass has moved through it, it will collapse.
4) All ships have two mass limits. One limits mass through at a time. Some wormholes wont even let battleships go through. Others will allow anything short of a mothership or titan through. There's also a mass count that depletes as ships go through it .When it goes below zero (say, if it has 5000 mass left and a 10,000,000 mass ship goes through), it collapses
