Edited by: Asiel on 30/03/2009 09:33:19 please make probes home in on a selected signature, my finger hurts from fiddling with the 3d map after 30 mins.

Practice more. I can scan down a target in less than 5 minutes.

You want the game to play itself for ya?
No, srsly ccp, you need to have the probes somehow move themselves into scan position according to some settings you can make before hand or something alogn those lines.
Moving around those probes one by one is getting old alarmingly fast.

Edited by: Asiel on 30/03/2009 11:06:56 yeh right, one target 5 mins 6 targets per system, and no i dont need the game to play itself tho i got better things to do then moving bubbles all over the map as a hobby, hitting a timer every 2 mins orso is in my opinion more relaxed and dont have to twiddle constantly
and have time to kill site's with alts whilst probing instead of having to focus onn the damn map all the time

Edited by: Khalia Nestune on 30/03/2009 11:13:02 So don't scan. Go do something else.
The game isn't designed for your ease of play; it's a challenge by design. The number of probes you use, the way in which you place them, how far apart you place them, the size of the scan radius, and your skills, all impact on how successful you will be.
You've already got half of the older players *****ing about making scanning 'too easy' because they reduced a dozen probe types to two, and you want to make it EASIER? Perhaps I should just fire a few probes off, go have a smoke, and come back with a list of targets ready for me.
Oh wait, I'm playing a game where SKILL is involved. Silly me, almost forgot that.

i been probing since the day exploration came out, and as they screwed it already might aswell make it enjoyable and not so friggin intensive for the eyes
and i doubt any of the recent posters on this thread can match my sp and xp, so go Fit an imicus with a probe launcher , in your face
and the current system has nothing to do with skills, every noob can scan now as long as you got twiddle fingers

Well, you've now explained to me why your corp needs baby sitters...
If you've got a reason for changing the probing system other than "I don't like how it is", it's yet to be seen. Or a productive suggestion.

you dont like the fact that i dont like it you are being a real over protective mommy to ccp, , i did give constructive suggestion i.e. make probes that have a warp drive go to where my ships navigational computer wants them to go
you suck btw
