Sorry if this has been asked 1,000 times I searched but couldn't find the answer I was after.
Has anyone crunched the numbers on what is the best character to roll for a fast tracked ORCA pilot.
And please I don't just want to be pointed to the character bazaar.

There is no fast roll anymore they all start whit the same now...If your asking for a training plan then thats something else.....

Using a spare alt, he's got a long way to flying an orca - but that's better imo than spending more months getting his mining ability up and training one of my miners into the orca.

The actual training I can get from eve mon.

After the last expansion, all characters start with base attributes of 8/8/8/8/7 and the exact same skills. Skill training is doubled until you hit 1.6mil SP.
You are also allowed to respec your attributes two times for free, then once every year after that.
In short, there is no such thing as the best race/background/profession anymore. Built your plan in EVEMon and it'll let you know which learning skills to sandwich in there to get the Orca faster. Also get Cybernetics to III so you can use +4s to get another boost.
EVEMon's implant calc. will let you experiment with different attribute remaps to see what nets you the overall fastest training time.

Choosing one character above another won't save more than a couple hours, as characters start with very low skills (lvl 3 max), so even the worst combination will take just 1-2 hours more, that means nothing towards a several weeks objective... so the answer is... pick the nicest portrait :)

If you plan on boosting, then with the orca char creation, you can't really gimp charisma either. need it for mining foreman 5, mining director 5, and warfare link specialist skills. once you get those 3, you can respec your stats.

I rolled a Achura just before the new update and started out with the 800k SP's and 3 Charisma. I put him on a training plan for a Orca and I think it was 48 days or so. I also had to train up some Charisma as it was recommended by Evemon.

For a maxed out orca pilot it would be worth training for +4 implants,but you can check whit Evemon.Use the implant calculator and up your implants by +1,and see how much time is saved..Compare that too the time it takes too train for Cybernetics 4 from 1,and i would be surprised if it isnŠt worth it.
