Is it agains the rules to use extra keybindings on a keyboard like Saitek Cyborg? This kb has 12 extra buttons you can program and with some fiddling around you can bypass what Eve offers by default.

Depends; The Logitech G series is allowed as it's macros only work when activated by the player, it doesn't detect or interact with the game itself, they're just keypresses.
If that Saitek is similar (and I don't see how it wouldn't be similar) then I don't see a reason why it should be outlawed.

Why ask? We both know you're going to use it regardless of what anyone here says, even if it is "illegal".

It's similar. The extra buttons can play a recorded sequence when you press them >_>

o/\o Oni I have a Saitek too, use the programable buttons, they help in PVP immensly and make mission runnin etc possible with 1-2 button presses

Because he may have some specific questions about macros and before he incriminates himself he wants to make sure its ok first.
