Twould surely be an investment of epic proportions for CCP to support more projects like this. EVE has such a rich fiction, this video exploits it wonderfully.

So after watching this a couple of times I spent the evening going through my EVE vid library.
Some of the producers of those did some truely heroic efforts using imaginative cutting with the in-game engine, and found good sound tracks, and told a good story.
But what makes this stand out is it's professionality. I mean, I thought: Hollywood.
The pacing is absolutely perfect. Even some of the more ordinary cuts say near the 1:40 area make the ensuing timing stand out even more.
To the guys who whine about it using CCP tools: I doubt those will provide the HUDs in the initial planetary assault. That must have taken a better part of 2008.
What can I say, I'll toss in a post to keep this thread going and hope to see you in a serious production soon, and moreso in a CCP one.
(Time to get back to the "Caldari Outlaw" and "EVE Never Fades" and "No Other Destiny" levels of standard all you Devs posting on the unmatched pages 1 & 2 of this thread, and that means I want proper sound effects and voice-over).
