well corp hopping to avoid a wardec as a corp is exploit subject to punishment
But I mean what if that one man corp hired a bunch of freelance mercenaries to go after the 'victim' and to save them the trouble have all of them join his corp and work on the already existing wardec? I mean multiple man corps have also done this hiring extra guns have having them fight along side thier forces, so hows that any different? =============

wrong, corp hopping to avoid the wardec is not an exploit but an authorized tactic.
corp hopping in to a corp in order to ninja attack, or repeatedly dropping and rejoining a corporation at war are exploits and subject to account bans

I didn't realise joining a corp to join a war dec is an exploit, got a link so i can check that out?
And also my solution to the first problem, join an alliance for a bit, costs a lot more than 2mil a week to keep an alliance decced if i remember rightly.... ...

Originally by: Geong Si Set his corp to red and add him to your buddy list. Then you will see when he log on and you can also keep a eye on local for any red guys. Seems easy enough.
This.
OR if you have a bil, make an alliance, it cost him more to wardec. Maybe he can still afford it, I dont know. ---

Originally by: Akita T The sane thing to do would be to ALWAYS assume you're at war with everybody anyway. Or was that the paranoid thing to do ? I always get those two mixed up in EVE
That's because in EVE being paranoid IS sane.
To the OP: As some others said, set the corp to red. If in high sec make sure it is the only corp that is red to you. Then watch local and be ready to dock up any time.
Tank your ships, learn to strike back. Not ideal if that is not your thing, but you might actually come to like PvP :)
Also expect him to use alts to scan you out in places like Jita and so forth. Being paranoid is only sensible :)
Someone mentioned to pay him to leave you alone - if you do that, expect the next war dec from a different corp in a week.

Sadly, some people it would seem have no ability to post in a forum without putting on the internets tough guy act, fully backed by being anonymous behind a screen.

It's pretty sad to see people posting such ultra carebear views. Such people should have been greifed into quiting during their first 1-3 days of playing.
It's nice that EVE player base is growing, but we shouldn't just accept everyone. This game isn't for everyone. And I hope CCP will not try to make it a game for everyone. Have some standards

I see your point. It's "annoying" to be forced to watch out local just cause that moron persists on declaring.
Is he a real life friend? Why is he so obsessed with you? Maybe you flipped his can once, or whatever!
My advice is move to lowsec so you gotta watch local channel no matter who declares on you seriously high sec sucks big time. Worse agent rewards, worse rats, worse belts, lots of carebears, spam, macros.....
My best decission ever made is moving from high security. And I was a carebear myself 0.0 and lowsec are more funny and not as dangerous as you may think.

Im pretty sure your in game character is allowed to follow and target another in game character when they switch corps as long as you dont use exploits.
Wherever you went - Here you are.

OMG WTF kind of wuss is the op? It's a 1 man corp heck even if it was two or three, deal with it. Take his ships away, PVP! Hunt him down and WTFPWN his A$$. You can put up a ship no?
Get a spine, heck I should ask my corp to wardec you for posting this crap.
If you are too afraid of PVP then you are playing the wrong game. ---------------------------------------- If it was easy it wouldn't be EVE. |

Or, locate a wormhole, invite her/him to the worm hole for untold hidden wealth, once they come into the worm hole, enter and exit the worm until it closes, thus locking them into the worm until found or they have to self destruct.
Even though he/she would have read this as well, they wouldnt travel to the worm hole knowing it's a trap. Hence you have taken care of the problem in a pincer strategic move.

Did you bother to read the OP? He isn't worried about the "1-man" wardec. Repeat that until it sinks in... Use a hammer if you need to. Don't worry, we'll wait, someone has to stick around to walk those kids home from the short-bus.
He wants to know what he can do if a bunch of people join that war-dec'ing, one-man corp down the road.
As has been posted already, set the corp to red, keep local up, and keep scanning it.
Put him in your buddie list, check when he comes online/offline...
Wish you luck. ôEveryone has a right to be stupid; some people just abuse the privilege.ö |

the more probable thing is that the 1 war target would fly a gank ship, with several neutrals remote boosting and remote repairing him
But anyway, even that doesn't justify the appaling level of carebearism in OP

The key being the ninja part about it. As in dont do it while you are in local (in his missions stealing his loots) with a war target. Doing it out of system is just fine so they get to see you with a red star when you enter the system. In other words, login trap. g2g.
