Hi, Ok, picked up EVE online today and have just finished the first few tutorials. When I quit the game, does it 'save' it or does it continue in the background. Basically if I quit the game will it affect the game I am currently playing or will it be at the same stage when I get back, sorry for the simple question but I normally play RTS and this is my first ever MMORPG. Thanks. |

There is no option to save the game, almost everything will be just like you leave it.

I'd like to point out that your ship stays wherever it is when you log out. So, if you log out in an area where enemies could attack you, your ship might not be there when you log back in.

Your ship warps away and disappears after two minutes, provided you aren't warp scrambled.

actualy when you quit, the ship is warping, just like when you quit, it automaticaly press an autopillot and in 30 seconds there isnt anymore, warping in nowhere. And yes unless you arent scrambeled, so quiting the game when you are attaked just to auto warp wouldnt be a good idea
