Edited by: Mutnin on 31/03/2009 22:26:20 I rolled this Alt just before the latest update as a Amarr Soldier. I've done all the basic learning skills to 4 with exception of Charisma. I've done all the advanced learning skills to 4's with the exception of Focus (it's at 3 but will go to 4 soon)
Current attributes are Int 21 - Per 19 - Char 4 - Will 21 - Mem 21 with +3 implants
Being I have fairly high Memory I'm on a month long Drone training program to get myself some good basic drone skills. I'm looking for ideas on how to best respec him once I'm done with the drones.
Movable attributes are +4 Int, +2 Per, 0 Char, +5 Will, +4 Mem. I think I will need a fairly balanced Int/Per remap as this is a starter PvPer.
I was thinking taking the 9 movable points from Will/Men and adding them to Int/Per. This would give me Int 24, Per 25, Char 4, Will 16, Mem 17. (with +3 implants)
I would of course train Focus to 4 to get willpower up to 17.
I'm wondering if this would be a good respec for a new PvP toon? The skills I need to train are all Int/Per for the main attributes. I'm just not certian how much of a roll the seconday's play. (ie will/mem)

To be honest your set up isn't bad. I am currently training a pvp alt as well. I did all into Int and Mem, starting with training up mechanics, electronics, enginneering and navigation skills first. Then I'll remap for perception and willpower skills. It's going to be a long term investment with this guy, not sure how much it will pay off. Going minmatar for Sabres....

Yea I'm gonna be cross training this guy up to at least Battle Cruiser ships for both Minmatar and Gallente. My main that I'm replacing is a Minmatar and I like the ships up to a Hurricane. I've also wanted to give Gallente a go at some point. Which means I'm gonna be heavy on the Perception/Willpower in the long run.
It's just I need those darn Basics in Eletronics/Engineering/Mechanic, otherwise I'd likely go heavy on Per/Will

I just wanted to say, that I just noticed the "Optimize Attributes" in EveMon. I dunno if it was there before, or if it was something that was added in the last update.
I put in a 1 year plan (well it came to 305 days before remap suggestions) and according to EM's remap I'd save 41 days 19 hours. Making it 263 days.
EM suggests: Int 17, Per 28, Chr 5, Will 20, Mem 17
I can also actually save a extra 7 days off the long term plan by training some skills prior to doing the re-map.

Here is a classic obsession with EveMon.
just train what you feel you want to get and enjoy the game. Its a game right?
Not bad that you want to optimize some attributes or skill path, but cmon...... 1year plan lmao.
