Hey folks,
I'm a Gallente Jack of all trades, looking to sign on with an active corp.
I have a very large chunk of SP and experience in invention, I'd like a corp where I'm able to keep that up, remote science and industry skills allow me to be quite flexible in that regard.
I fly T2 up to Gallente cruisers and am working on T2 up to Amarr cruisers, I'm about to ditch on any skill that takes memory and charisma and I've got a one year plan in EveMon that will see me in T2 battleships for both Gallente and Amarr. Remap will save me about 80 days (thank you EveMon!).
I'm based out of Canada @ EST (GMT - 5:00.)
I've got to have a sociable bunch or people who know what they're doing. I like to help new players, but I don't want that to be the focus of my activities. What I really want is people who are at an advanced level, able to cut deals and work together.
I am not looking for a 0.0 corp, 0.0 is more hassle than it's worth IMO.
I require positive faction standings for my trading activities, so I can't join a FW corp.
I don't particularly like mining, but can fly a hulk when needed. I do like pvp, so if your corp's wartime strategy is to station tank, I'm not interested in joining with you. Station tanking hurts my wallet, ransoms only ever get bigger.
I'd like to do the wormhole thing, but that is not required.
I like to joke around and chat with people. Corp chat should be more than just a series of "o/". I've got a mic, and if I don't have TS or vent now, its only because they aren't currently installed. That can easily be fixed.

fairly sociable, invention, exploration, bit of pew, mining blah blah, low hassle, 0.0 if you want it etc. no station tanking, just pod tanking.
we have a fair amount of -5 pilots too

If you're looking for a group that is active in wormholes I'd love to talk to you about Wessex.
Wessex is part of a multi-corp w-space colony. We live at the bottom of wormholes, and only come up for air every few days. We're mostly active evenings US TZ. There's always something going on whether it's mining, fighting sleepers, chasing the odd pirate, running a caravan to k-space for re-supply, or even just building stuff or organzing things. Basically we live down here and everything we do is done down here, usually in fleets. We're a fairly friendly bunch, and while I have recruited some new folks we also have some very old hands at EVE so you certainly will not be constantly offering advice to folks. (that said, if you aren't willing to at least occasionally help out a new in figuring something out you probably won't fit in with us very well)

Convo me for the details. A few facts about us. High/Null Sec corp (47 members). Expanding (brought on 5 last week). Mostly N. American and EU. Members of an active alliance and coallition. Use TS and Vent. Have forums and KBs for both corp and alliance. Great group of guys. BTW, we have some Canadians already in the bunch. Our CEO is from Quebec. Busy just about 23/7. Defence Research and Development/Controlled Chaos.

We are a newly formed corp recruiting all positions...at the moment we have a head of invention & industry pilot but he could do with some help tp progress the corp...we have other divisions who are recruiting also..
