Some relevant info:
-I'm PST, and don't usually login until 6pm or later, and occasionally play until 2am or later.
-I have 1.6mil SP (so yes, kind of a noob).
-I'm smart, I learn quickly, I enjoy helping & working with others, and I take pride and enjoyment in doing things well, while remaining aware that this is just a game.
-I'd prefer to play with people who share those qualities with me (or at least most of them  ).
-I'm still getting my feet wet, and I don't know for sure what I want to end up striving for in the long term.
-As such, I'm up for pretty much any sort of activity so I can find out what I like.
-That said, while I think it is awesome that pirating is a viable profession in EVE, yo-ho, yo-ho, it's not the life for me. 
-And that said, the one area that has caught my eye is exploration, which sounds positively nifty. PLUS, I think the Heron/Buzzard looks AWESOME.
-A big corporation in a big alliance with an established presence and infrastructure sounds cool.
-A medium corporation where I won't be lost in the crowd and can make a noticeable contribution sounds cool.
-A small corporation with Joe-bob, his three buddies, and their alts who "will have a POS in 0.0 any day now, srsly" sound a lot less cool.
-0.0 space kind of scares me, but I have a hunch that it's mostly due to my ignorance of what goes on out there.
-I'm a college senior; EVE is not a #1 priority, and for that matter, not a #2.
-I'm a college senior; if I'm online on a Friday/Saturday night, don't be surprised if I'm three or four deep.
-In the interest of full disclosure, I'm a virtual tranny (note to oblivious: that means while my character has lady parts, real me has man parts.)
-At the end of the day, I'm here to have a good time and fly a super-cool spaceship.
-If you've got a corp where it sounds like I would fit in, I'd be positively interested in hearing from you.

Well MVRSE while being based in 0.0 has it's perks in Empire space as well. If you feel you can't cut it in null sec. We like to help out a lot with our empire recruits and have quite the large base of people there. We base ourselves around every aspect of the game.
